At Rooted Church, we believe in a community led by a plurality of servant-leaders. Our Elders provide spiritual oversight and direction, while our Trustees lead in specific areas, all of us serving God and each other. Get to know the hearts of our team to pursue God and advance His Kingdom.
Thom Bullard - Elder
Thom Bullard serves as an Elder at Rooted Church, bringing over 25 years of experience in worship and teaching ministry. Alongside his wife, Lindsay, and their six children, Thom's family is dedicated to hosting the tangible Presence of God. Their passion is to help others encounter God in a way that fosters a holy pursuit and a life that truly brings glory to God.
Micheal McNew - Elder
Micheal McNew is an Elder at Rooted Church, driven by a profound passion to see individuals set free and grow deeply in their relationship with God. Micheal believes this journey produces healthy, lasting fruit in their lives. Micheal's inspiring testimony powerfully demonstrates how submission to God allows Him to beautifully write our story for His Glory, impacting others for the Kingdom in profound ways. Micheal's heart for transformation is a cornerstone of our community.
Lindsay Bullard - Trustee
Lindsay serves alongside her husband Thom and their children as a Trustee of Rooted Church. She seeks to create an environment where people feel loved and encouraged to pursue God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. Among other functions, she manages schedules and ministry events.
Mariah McNew - Trustee
Mariah serves as a Trustee of Rooted Church with her husband Micheal and their two children. In addition to her commitment to God, and desire to see people grow in their spiritual walk, her skills in administration and finance help Rooted Church operate efficiently and with confidence. Mariah serves as Treasurer.
Joyce Cantrell - Trustee
Joyce serves as a Trustee of Rooted Church and brings a wealth of wisdom to the team. Along with being a long-time mathematics teacher for Sherwood School District, she is Rooted Church's secretary and historian, recording the decisions of the leadership team, and capturing important experiences and encounters with God so that we can reference them for encouragement as we continue to grow.
David Bullard - Trustee
David serves as a Trustee of Rooted Church with responsibilities over technology and setup. David's heart for service and building a strong, Biblically-sound church structure is an invaluable addition to the Rooted team. In addition to being a musician who uses his giftings to lead people into a worshipful connection with God, David plays an integral role in the logistics of Rooted church.
